Blessed Assurance

What does it mean to have that Blessed Assurance? Well, to be blessed is to be made holy or consecrated or to be endowed with divine favor or protection. It can also be to bring pleasure or relief as a welcome contrasted to what one has previously experienced. And to have assurance is to have a positive declaration intended to give confidence; a promise. It can also be to have confidence or certainty in one’s own abilities or to have certainty about something. So, to say that we have a BLESSED ASSURANCE with our Father is to say that we have been consecrated, set apart with His divine favor and protection from what we have previously experienced and that we can stand in confidence on that promise knowing that without a doubt and with certainty all that He ever said He will do He SHALL do and all He said SHALL come to pass.
